These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Meridian mobile application and website at meridianapp.co.uk, operated by Novus Studio LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading or using Meridian, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Meridian provides GPS navigation, turn-by-turn directions, real-time convoy tracking, and an AI voice co-pilot for use in vehicles. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless you have a separate written agreement with us.
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes, but we're not obligated to.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Meridian. If you're under 16, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. By using the app, you confirm you meet these requirements.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, email us at contact@novusstudio.co immediately.
You may not create accounts on behalf of others, impersonate any person, or use a display name that is offensive or misleading.
Meridian Plus is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features including unlimited convoy members, offline maps, and the full AI co-pilot. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Refunds are subject to the refund policy of Apple or Google, as applicable. We don't process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change the price of Meridian Plus. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase, and you can cancel if you don't accept the new price.

Meridian is a navigation aid, not a substitute for your own judgement as a driver. Map data and routing are provided by HERE Technologies and may not always be accurate, current, or complete.
Always obey road signs, traffic signals, and the rules of the road. Never follow navigation instructions that would require you to break the law, drive unsafely, or enter a restricted area. We are not liable for any consequence of following navigation directions.
When you join or create a convoy, your real-time location is shared with other members of that convoy. You are responsible for ensuring that everyone in your convoy has consented to this sharing. Do not add anyone to a convoy without their knowledge.
Convoy data is transient — it is not permanently stored by us once a convoy ends. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Meridian, the Meridian logo, and all content within the app are owned by Novus Studio LTD or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Map data is provided by HERE Technologies and subject to their licensing terms. Music metadata displayed in the Now Playing feature belongs to the respective rights holders.
Meridian integrates with third-party services including HERE Maps, Apple Music, Spotify, and the App Store / Google Play. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
Meridian is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We don't guarantee the accuracy of navigation data, ETAs, or convoy positions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Novus Studio LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Meridian — including but not limited to accidents, traffic penalties, missed appointments, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Meridian will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Novus Studio LTD, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Meridian at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct we deem harmful to other users or to us, or if we're required to do so by law.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. Termination doesn't affect any rights or obligations that arose before it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or email. Continued use of Meridian after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
